The business is among the top five research firms globally, with over 10,000 workers in 50 countries. It is one of the most well-known drug development organizations, with clinical trials assisting in creating the biggest proportion of best-selling medications.
Client Requirements and Challenges
Create a mixed learning approach that combined the best of classroom training sessions with online resources for onboarding.
ILT content had to be ready for deployment in only six weeks.
Our client completed several significant acquisitions in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries, necessitating a thorough onboarding program.
Meeting the tight deadlines was one of the most challenging aspects of delivering the course. Because our client had a training plan in place for their Asia center's onboarding program, the 15+ hour, ILT content had to be ready for deployment in only six weeks.
We recommended a mixed learning approach that combined the best of classroom training sessions with online resources for onboarding. As a result, ILT training materials, eLearning in Articulate Storyline, and facilitator and participant guides were all part of the project.
The onboarding team was forced to go through the material as fast as possible without up-to-date content. As a result, they were missing several key facts. As the onboarding team completed the course, they continued to find incorrect information and inconsistencies.
By the end of the first week, they had produced the majority of the training content for both the ILT and the content for the standard course. The team had a very tight timeline, and they struggled to ensure that both content and materials met their needs. We were successful in implementing training within the timeline and on budget.
